It is a very interesting route to explore oldest Monasteries like Wanla,Mang gyu and Alchi dating back to the 11th century  built by the great translator Lotsawa Rinchen Zangpo. This trek is unique in that it offers an opportunity to see not only the many natural beauties of Ladakh, but also some of its most famous Monasteries.
